Wory Time

By now, you’ve started approaching things anxiety once told you to avoid. That matters. Here’s something important: how you treat yourself during this process shapes what your brain learns.

Day 6 is about learning with experience and self-compassion.

You’ll learn:

  • Worry Time
  • Identifying Solvable and hypothetical worries

Exposure works best when your brain learns something new. Not just, “I survived,” but, “I can handle discomfort.” That learning sticks when it’s paired with steadiness instead of self-criticism. If you push through an exposure and then tell yourself you didn’t do it well enough, your nervous system stays in threat mode. Compassion isn’t softness — it’s what allows learning to consolidate.

Watch the video first. Then move through the workbook at your own pace. As you reflect today, ask: What would I say to someone I care about who is doing this work? Growth doesn’t require punishment. It requires repetition and patience.

This program remains psychoeducational and is not therapy or medical care. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, please seek immediate support. In the U.S., call or text 988.

You are not just confronting anxiety now. You are building resilience.

And that’s a different kind of strength.
