Day 5: Your Values and Your “Why”
Today we’re shifting our focus to something that often gets lost when anxiety and OCD take over.
What truly matters to you.
When OCD is loud, it can begin to organize life around fear. Decisions start to revolve around avoiding discomfort, preventing uncertainty, or trying to feel completely safe.
Over time, this can slowly pull people away from the things that make life meaningful — relationships, experiences, goals, and personal values.
On Day 5, we’re focusing on reconnecting with what matters most to you. Instead of allowing anxiety to decide your direction, we begin clarifying the values that can guide your choices moving forward.
Inside today’s lesson you’ll find:
• One short educational video
• A fillable workbook PDF
• Reflection prompts to help you identify the values that give your life meaning
Start with the video, then move through the workbook at your own pace. Today is about stepping back from the noise of anxiety and reconnecting with the deeper motivations that can guide your growth.
You don’t need to have everything figured out today. Just begin noticing what truly matters.
Remember: this challenge is a psycho-educational program designed to help you build skills, not therapy or medical care. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, please seek immediate support. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Today we’re not trying to eliminate fear.
We’re beginning to build a life that is bigger than it.
